On Friday the 31st May and Saturday 1st June the kids and adults of St Andrew’s Pantomime Group performed in a Summer Variety show. There were rousing medleys ranging from Disney Musicals to songs with Colours in the words and an explosive opening from the Greatest Showman. There were sketches from the Doctor’s Surgery, the Opticians and a superb adaptation of Oliver by the St Andrew’s Kids entitled (in these days of equal opportunities) “Olivia”. Duke of York’s Community Initiative Award

The Duke of York’s Community Initiative was founded in 1998 after HRH visited a York housing estate where inspiring residents had come together to resolve community problems.  The Duke decided to found an Initiative to recognise the important contribution made by voluntary organisations for their work across Yorkshire.
