As we near the show dates (just four short weeks away) we step up the rehearsal intensity – but as you can see we still mange to have lots of fun!

  On Sunday the 8th December, Tim Boocock, the Minister at St Andrew’s in Beeston prepared a Carol Service with a difference. Not only was it created around a Pantomime theme but it also featured a retelling of the nativity from a woman’s perspective – well a man dressed as a woman, actually three men dressed as women to be precise. As many, if not all of you know, Alan Makinson, our long standing and much loved Musical Director, sadly passed away in January of 2017. It was a huge loss for the Group and, of course, even more so for his close-knit family. It has taken almost two years for Steve and Lisa to be able to organise a memorial concert in his name, which would serve as great testimony to his memory and a fund raiser for causes close to his heart.
